The Working in Good Ways framework shares seven principles and related practices for building relationships and partnerships with Indigenous communities: Literacy, Reflection, Relationship, Reciprocity, Protocol, Humility, and Collaboration. Developed by the office of Community Engaged Learning, the framework grew out of conversations with Anishinaabe/Ojibway, Ininew/Cree, Métis, Sayisi Dene, Kichwa, Mapuche, and Maya partners across Manitoba, Belize, Ecuador and Chile, as well as faculty, staff, and students at UM.
